Carlton Hotel - Forres

The units were comfy and absolutely brilliant with snuggly duvets. The location is marvellous and unbeatable - walk from a bus stop.

The location of the property was handy, to cafe for bacon rolls. And it was also close enough to the taxi rank which is open until at least 2am as well as churches. Downstairs bar was lively. Stayed here for 6 nights and did not want to leave.

Location was great, but wifi didn't work and the shower was cold.

The staff were responsive to concerns and worked to address the problems at hand. Check-in was straightforward despite the chaotic atmosphere.

The noise from the private function made for a very uncomfortable start to the stay.

I was really impressed with the unique style of my room and how swiftly the staff accommodated me when my flight was delayed. I loved relaxing by the pool and enjoyed a delicious breakfast that started my day right. The only downside was some noise from the nearby pub, but those earplugs they provide really did help, so bring your own just in case! 😊

We explored some amazing nearby attractions, including a beautiful castle and a scenic park. The room was cozy, and the bar staff were super friendly. I recommend enjoying their breakfast and trying the local ales while relaxing after a day of sightseeing.

One downside was that the windows in our room didn't open, pretty stuffy at times. We had to request fans for relief.

I had the best time soaking in the old-world charm ! The complimentary drink and sweets at check-in. Plus, the breakfast was delicious, especially all the options for vegans, a fantastic start to the day!

The beautifully decorated twin room was surprisingly spacious, offering great comfort . Breakfast was generous, with a great selection of homemade Majorcan products. The heating system was not functioning, leaving the room uncomfortably chilly. Some noise from the nearby pub made it hard to sleep, especially late at night when patrons were outside. Lastly, I encountered issues with the shower, which lacked adequate water pressure and consistency.

Had a blast with friends! We explored some local castles and enjoyed the scenic parks around. The inviting atmosphere was nice, despite loud music from the pub below. Just a heads up, the rooms can get noisy, especially if you're near the bar. A good spot to unwind after a day of sightseeing.

The skylight in our room leaked during the rain, leaving us with wet floors. I couldn't shower due to water issues, pretty inconvenient. Communication during checkout could've been better too.

I had an amazing one-night stay! The delicious breakfast surpassed all my expectations, and the cozy atmosphere in the bar. The staff went above and beyond, accommodating my needs with such thoughtfulness.

The staff were super friendly n. Brekfast was awsome with a lot of choices. The room was comfy and clean, and the atmosphere in the bar was nice n chill. They had a free drink voucher for each night too, a sweet bonus. Overall great stay and excellent value for money.

The heating wasn't workin properly n it got a bit cold at night. The shower in the shared bathroom was kinda annoying, it went hot n cold way too much.

Stayed at the carlton for a night and it was a great experience! Our top floor room was spacious with an ensuite and had all the coffee essentials, including a coffee machine. The breakfast was surprisingly good, especially the french toast. Plus, it's just across from the taxi rank, super convenient.
